What is plastic mold design?
The process of plastic parts design is to materialize the desired ideal products, using the design platform to simulate the working environment, so that the data to achieve the ideal state. These are the early tasks of production. This step determines whether the subsequent production task can proceed smoothly, and whether the product meets the standards. The development of grinding tools is not achieved overnight, need repeated modification, sample.
Types of Plastic Moulding
Extrusion Moulding. With extrusion moulding, hot melted plastic is pressed through a shaped hole to create a lengthy shaped plastic part.
Compression Moulding.
Blow Moulding.
Injection Moulding.
Rotational Moulding.
We focus on Extrusion and Injection molding design and service.
Process Introduction
Plastic injection molding is the preferred process for manufacturing plastic parts. Injection molding is used to create many things such as electronic housings, containers, bottle caps, automotive interiors, combs, and most other plastic products available today. It is ideal for producing high volumes of plastic parts due to the fact that several parts can be produced in each cycle by using multi-cavity injection molds. Some advantages of injection molding are high tolerance precision, repeatability, large material selection, low labor cost, minimal scrap losses, and little need to finish parts after molding. Some disadvantages of this process are an expensive upfront tooling investment and process limitations.
Extruded molding is a kind of efficient, continuous, low cost, adapt to the wide molding processing method, is an earlier technology in polymer material processing, after 100 years of development, extrusion molding is the polymer processing field the most production varieties, most changes, high productivity, strong adaptability, widely used, production of the proportion of the largest molding processing method.Extruded molding is one of the most important forms of plastic material processing, it is suitable for most plastic materials except some thermosetting plastics, about 50% of thermoplastic products are completed by extrusion molding, and a large number of chemical fiber, thermoplastic elastic and rubber products; extrusion molding method can produce pipe, rod, sheet, different profile, wire and cable sheath, single wire, molding, granulation, coloring and polymer materials. In addition, the extrusion —— blowing molding technology and the extrusion —— tensile molding technology are an important method of manufacturing thin film and hollow products.

JF is highly experienced across numerous industries, the Refrigerator field in particular.
What is the best material for making a mold?
Most molds are made from hardened or pre-hardened steel. Hardened steel (heat treated after machining) has superior wear resistance compared to pre-hardened steel and lasts longer. Although steel molds are more expensive than molds made from other materials, such as aluminum, they are more durable and support a higher rate of production before they need to be replaced.
