Description
Polyvinyl chloride, abbreviated as PVC in English, is a polymer formed by the polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer in initiators such as peroxides and azo compounds, or under the action of light and heat according to the mechanism of free radical polymerization. PVC profiles are PVC extruded plastic materials with irregular cross-sections, including door and window profiles, plastic edging, plastic moldings, PVC pipes, U-shaped grooves, etc. PVC profiles have the characteristics of energy saving, heat insulation, sound insulation, good sealing performance, anti-corrosion, and beautiful appearance. They are widely used in construction, home decoration, automobile, medical and other industries, and are indispensable materials for the development of many industries.
What is FLANGE?
A flange is a protruded ridge, lip or rim, either external or internal, that serves to increase strength (as the flange of an iron beam such as an I-beam or a T-beam); for easy attachment/transfer of contact force with another object (as the flange on the end of a pipe, steam cylinder, etc., or on the lens mount of a camera); or for stabilizing and guiding the movements of a machine or its parts (as the inside flange of a rail car or tram wheel, which keep the wheels from running off the rails). The term "flange" is also used for a kind of tool used to form flanges.
